SHEPHERD’S BUSH

SHEPHERD’S BUSH

Unsere neue Nachbarschaft

Shepherd's Bush liegt in West-London, England, im London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham.

Shepherd's Bush is located in West London, England, in the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham. It is designated as a major metropolitan centre of London and offers excellent transport links, including several rail lines and good connections to the Westway.

Although the district is mainly residential, its character is defined by the Shepherd's Bush Green shopping district, the largest shopping centre in England "Westfield", the "Shepherd's Bush Market" and many small, mostly independent shops, pubs and restaurants. All these different options are grouped around the triangular green area in the centre. The "02 Shepherd's Bush Empire", the "Bush Theatre" or the "Bush Hall" offer a variety of events throughout the year.

"Rugged charm" defines Shepherd's Bush perfectly – even though it is becoming increasingly gentrified and millions of pounds have been invested in the area, it still retains its old-fashioned character.

Yoo Capital will give the next development boost with the revitalisation of the district market. At the same time, hundreds of new flats will be built here, which will further boost the neighbourhood.

Holland Park and Notting Hill are just around the corner, as are Hammersmith and Chiswick, and even the Thames is not far away.

The neighbourhood therefore offers everything that makes London special and at the same time still has potential for development. This is rather the exception for north of the Thames, in the west of the city.

Shepherd's Bush was first mentioned in writing in 704 when it was bought by Waldhere, the Bishop of London, as part of the "Fulanham" estate. However, the first settlements here can be traced back to the Bronze Age.

It is thought that the name Shepherd's Bush derives from the use of the common land here as a resting place for herdsmen and shepherds on their way to Smithfield Market in the City of London.

Aimo Plus will open its new London showroom here in a Victorian house on 2.5 floors. After the test run in Earl's Court in a rented space, a fundamental conversion and extension will now take place following the acquisition of these premises and present the Aimo Plus style with a love of detail.

I will continue to report on this.
