Wie war das mit der Liebe in und zu London?

Doch jetzt sind unsere Immobilienangelegenheiten erledigt, möchten wir einem einzelnen Herrn aus Hastings bzw. Folkestone zurufen: „Sorted“.

Naja fast, aber beginnen wir mit den guten Neuigkeiten:

Denn die Aimo Plus hat Ihren Showroom in London nach einer jahrelangen Suche und einem monatelangen Ankaufsprozess, der von beiden Seiten mehrfach und mit guten Grund energisch zwischendurch beendet wurde, wirklich gefunden! Es konnte schlußendlich doch im Oktober eine finale Einigung erzielt werden, auch wenn es für alle Parteien nicht leicht war und fast in den letzten Stunden an einem Bankfehler gescheitert wäre. But here we are!

In Shepherd’s Bush, mitten in der denkbar quirligsten Lebendigkeit haben wir endlich gefunden, was wir 3 Jahre lang gesucht haben:

Die spürbare multinationale Virilität Londons, denn mehr Leben als rund um Shepherd’s Bush Green mit dem O2 Empire oder dem größten Einkaufszentrum ganz Englands Westfield sowie dem Shepherd’s Bush Market, ist nicht leicht in der ganzen Metropole zu finden.

Zudem sollte es eine ruhige, baumbestandene Straße mit geschlossener Bebauung sein – und auch das ist uns gelungen, denn nur ein Baukörper ragt in der Tadmor Street hervor, unserer. Er bietet somit nicht nur guter Ausblick, viel Sonnenschein (Südausrichtung!), eine Fläche mit Charakter (klar: Viktorianisch!) – sondern auch das Potential viel mehr daraus zu machen. Beste Voraussetzungen für mehr in Sachen Liebe.

Und hier kommt der Haken, das „naja fast“ vom Anfang: Denn die Fläche ist renovierungsbedürftig, das braucht eben Liebe und Zeit, von Geld ganz zu schweigen. Ja genau das wollten wir, aber doch sind wir jetzt ungeduldig auf unseren neuen Start in London. Und haben mindestens so viel Hoffnung wie Furcht vor dem weiteren Prozess.

Also wir dem Herrn aus Hastings / Folkestone können wir deshalb doch noch „Ready“ sagen, aber „Sorted“ vielleicht schon.

What about love in and for London?

But now our property matters are settled, we would like to shout to a single gentleman from Hastings or Folkestone: "Sorted".

Well almost, but let's start with the good news:

Because Aimo Plus really has found its showroom in London after a year-long search and a months-long purchase process, which was vigorously terminated by both sides several times and with good reason in between! A final agreement was finally reached in October, even if it was not easy for all parties and almost failed in the final hours due to a bank error. But here we are!

In Shepherd's Bush, in the midst of the liveliest neighbourhood imaginable, we finally found what we had been looking for for three years:

The palpable multinational virility of London, because it is not easy to find more life than around Shepherd's Bush Green with the O2 Empire or the largest shopping centre in England, Westfield, as well as Shepherd's Bush Market, in the whole metropolis.

We also wanted it to be a quiet, tree-lined street with closed development – and we succeeded in this too, as only one building stands out in Tadmor Street, ours. It therefore not only offers good views, plenty of sunshine (south-facing!), an area with character (of course: Victorian!) – but also the potential to make much more of it. The best conditions for more love.

And here comes the catch, the "well almost" from the beginning: because the space is in need of renovation, that takes love and time, not to mention money. Yes, that's exactly what we wanted, but we are now impatient for our new start in London. And have at least as much hope as fear of the further process.

So we can still say "Ready" to the gentleman from Hastings / Folkestone, but perhaps "Sorted" already.
